Privacy Policy

NEXTECH School ("the app") is provided by ANV Nextech for schools and their staff, students and parents. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. The NEXTECH DEMO build is a demonstration version that runs on sample data so schools can evaluate the app; it works the same way and is covered by this same policy.

Information we collect

• Account details — name, username, phone number and email used to sign in.
• School records — attendance, fees, marks, diary entries and notices entered by the school.
• Messages & media — chat messages, photos and voice notes you send within the app.
• Location — collected only from a driver's device while sharing live bus location, and only while the app is in use.

How we use information

We use this information solely to provide the app's features — signing in, showing your child's or class's information, messaging, fee receipts, attendance and transport tracking. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Sharing

Information is visible only to authorised users of your school — for example, a parent sees only their own child, and a teacher sees only their class. We use Supabase and Google Firebase to securely store data and deliver notifications. We do not share personal data with any other third party.

Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and protected by access controls so that each user sees only what they are permitted to.

Data retention & deletion

Records are kept while your school uses the app. In the demo build, sample data may be reset periodically. You may request correction or deletion of your data by contacting your school administrator or us using the details below.

Children's privacy

Student information is entered and managed by the school and by parents/guardians. The app is intended for use by adults (school staff and parents) on behalf of students.
